Real candles require a heat-resistant glass hurricane sleeve or chimney placed on the platform. LED candles are strongly recommended. Neither is included.

- The fox and foreground layer is cut from natural maple — clean and bright, with the precision required to hold two things: the sharp facial detail of the fox — the pointed muzzle, the alert ears, the specific watching expression — and the tail. That thick, full tail curls forward at the base of the piece with detailed fur lines sweeping through it. In maple, without the orange-red of a live fox, the silhouette alone is unmistakable, and the tail is what makes this cut something that took the laser seriously
- The background layer is cut from rich dark walnut — tree trunks receding into shadow, the forest closing behind the fox without asking for any of its attention
- The base and candle platform are cherry — warm-toned and grounding
