The Eagle with Flag Shield Wood Ornament does not quietly blend into the branches. A bald eagle stretches its wings across an American flag-inspired shield, surrounded by stars, stripes, and commemorative engraving. It is bold, proud, and ready to claim its spot in your patriotic display.
🦅 Wings, Stars, and Stripes
We gave the eagle plenty of detail, from the individual feathers across its wings to the stars and stripes patterned across its body. Behind it, an American flag shield fills the center of the design. Cut-through details reveal the darker wood below and give the entire scene more depth.
The circular border carries the words “United States of America” and “250 Years of Freedom,” along with the commemorative dates 1776–2026. The message surrounds the eagle without competing with it. This bird still commands the center of attention.
🪵 Crafting the Eagle with Flag Shield Wood Ornament
We create the front layer from premium 1/8-inch maple plywood and pair it with a premium 1/8-inch cherry plywood backing. The lighter maple highlights the detailed engraving. The darker cherry adds warm contrast behind the flag, stars, and other cut-through areas.
We precision-cut and engrave each ornament in our Arizona studio on Dusty Rose, our CO2 laser. The natural wood grain gives every piece subtle character of its own. We add no paint or stain, allowing the maple and cherry tones to carry the design.
🇺🇸 Give It a Place of Honor
The eagle with flag shield wood ornament measures approximately 3.5 inches wide by 3.8 inches tall. We attach a brown cord so it arrives ready to hang. Add it to a Christmas tree, patriotic wreath, wall hook, ornament stand, or year-round Americana display.
This non-personalized design belongs to our twelve-piece American 250th Anniversary Collection.
