Owl Layered Wall Art

This owl doesn’t mess around — and neither does the build behind it. Here’s what goes into every layer:

• Wood Species: Five natural wood species across six layers — Maple for the owl and frame, with Cherry, Aromatic Cedar, Mahogany, and Walnut in the mosaic background. Each species comes with its own natural grain and a clear coat applied by the manufacturer. No stain, no additional finish added in my studio.
• Construction: Six precision laser-cut layers stacked to create real, touchable depth. Wings stretch nearly edge to edge across the piece. Each layer shifts the grain and color slightly — the dimension in person is something photos can’t fully capture.
• Machine: Every cut is made on Dusty Rose, our CO2 laser, in our Arizona studio. Each species behaves differently under the laser — settings are dialed in per wood to keep every edge clean and crisp.
• Back Options: Open back has the center of the back layer cut out — your wall color shows through the gaps in the mosaic background for a lighter, more open look. Closed back adds a solid Midnight Mesa-stained panel behind the piece for bold, dark contrast that makes the natural maple owl pop. The closed back layer is stained and clear coated in my studio. • Display: Built-in laser-cut hangers on the back layer — hangs on two standard drywall nails, no extra hardware required. No stand included, but the piece can be propped if needed.

• Returns: Every piece is custom and made just for you, so all sales are final.
• Damaged in Transit: If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 5 business days of delivery with clear photos of the item AND the original packaging and we will make it right.
