250 Years. One Bald Eagle Wood Ornament. Zero Apologies.
The bald eagle doesn’t ask for your attention. It takes it. Wings fully spread, talons gripping air, engraved in sharp detail on natural maple — this ornament does exactly what America’s bird has always done: command the room without saying a word.
This is the year. 1776 to 2026. Two and a half centuries of freedom, laser-cut and engraved right here in our Arizona studio.
The front layer is natural maple — the eagle engraved deep into the surface, stars cut out along the border, flag stripes sliced through so the darker cherry behind shows through in all the right places.
That back layer is natural cherry: warm, rich, and a whole lot darker in tone. Two species. Two layers. One piece that actually looks like it belongs in 2026.
Two Layer Bald Eagle Wood Ornament Built to Last.
At roughly 3.5″ x 3.8″, it’s a solid handful — not a tiny trinket that disappears on a tree. It arrives with a brown cord, ready to hang wherever it lands: the tree, the mantel, the rear-view mirror of your most patriotic friend’s truck.
Before it leaves my studio, I inspect the alignment, finish, edges, and overall appearance.
My standard is simple: if it’s not something I’d proudly give to my own parents, it doesn’t leave my studio.

Every piece in the USA 250th Anniversary Ornament collection is built to last — here’s exactly what goes into this one:
- Materials: Handcrafted from premium maple and cherry plywood — real wood veneer on the top and bottom with a solid wood core in the middle. Significantly lighter than MDF and built to sit on your shelf for years without warping.
- Layer breakdown: The back layer is premium cherry plywood — warmer and darker, it reads through the flag stripe cutouts on the front. The front layer is premium maple — lighter in tone and laser-engraved with the eagle, stars, dates, and text. The contrast between the two species is what gives this piece its depth.
- Construction: Precision laser-cut in our Arizona studio on Dusty Rose, our CO2 laser. The flag stripe openings are full cut-throughs — not engraving — so the cherry layer shows through behind the maple eagle.
- Finish: Natural only on this ornament — no stain, no color added. The protective finish is pre-applied by the supplier. Screen colors may look slightly different depending on your monitor and lighting; the wood grain and tone are the real deal.
- Cord: Brown cord included — slide it right onto your tree, hook, or nail.
- Personalization: None offered on this design. The dates, the eagle, and the phrase say what needs to be said.
