Three types — electroplated personalized, powder coated, and sublimated. They look different, they're made differently, and they're priced differently. Scroll through and you'll figure out fast which one is your style.
What is the difference between electroplated, powder coated, and sublimated?
Electroplated tumblers have a metallic finish — black or white base with a gold or rainbow overlay — and are laser engraved to order with your name. Powder coated tumblers have a matte painted finish and are also laser engraved. Sublimated tumblers feature full-wrap artwork designs that are heat-pressed permanently into the coating — those are usually ready to ship as-is with no personalization. Each one has its own look and its own process.
Can all tumblers be personalized?
Not all of them. Electroplated and powder coated tumblers are laser engraved to order with your name. Sublimated tumblers are pre-designed and ship as shown — no name, no customization. If personalization matters to you, stick to the electroplated or powder coated collections.
Is the engraving permanent?
Yes. Laser engraving physically alters the surface of the tumbler — there's no vinyl, no ink, no coating on top. It does not fade, peel, or wash off. Hand wash only keeps the finish looking its best, but the engraving itself isn't going anywhere.
What sizes are available?
It depends on the design and tumbler type. Most electroplated designs come in five sizes — 20 oz skinny, 20 oz tapered, 30 oz traditional, 40 oz traditional, and 32 oz hydro bottle. Check the individual listing for exact size options on each design.
How long does production take?
Personalized tumblers are made to order — production time is 5 to 7 business days before your order ships. Sublimated tumblers are ready to ship and go out faster. Check the individual listing for specifics.
