The Raven Woodland Candle Holder is not for the faint of decor. She’s dramatic, she’s detailed, and she’s perched on your shelf like she has something important to say but is choosing silence instead. This freestanding laser-cut piece captures the raven’s intense, intelligent energy in a way that hits different by candlelight.
Dusty Rose, my CO₂ laser, cuts every detail right here in Arizona from premium maple, walnut, and cherry plywood. No stains, no dyes — just natural wood with a light clear coat. The grain pattern on every piece is unique, giving each raven her own dark mystique.
The 2-layer version (no walnut - trees in the middle) is striking on its own with maple and cherry contrast. But the 3-layer? That walnut middle layer adds shadow and depth that makes the feather detail absolutely unreal. If you’re going raven, go all the way. Candle not included.

☀️ Keep Her Pretty - Care & Display
- Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.
- Keep away from moisture and damp areas.
- LED candles are strongly recommended (not included).
- If using a real candle, always use a heat-resistant glass hurricane sleeve or glass chimney (not included) right on top of the base. This acts as a protective shield between the open flame and the wood structure. Never leave an open flame unattended and always keep heat away from the wood.
- Display on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight to preserve the wood's natural beauty.

What size candle fits in these holders?
These are designed for a standard pillar or LED candle that sits on the platform on top of the holder. LED candles are my top recommendation — they're safe, they last forever, and the warm glow they cast down over the laser-cut design is absolutely beautiful. Real pillar candles work too, just never leave them unattended.
Can I use real candles, or does it have to be LED?
Both work — the candle sits on the platform on top of the holder. That said, LED pillar candles are what I recommend for everyday use. The warm glow cascading down over that laser-cut animal silhouette looks incredible and you get zero open flame worry. If you use a real candle, never leave it burning unattended.
How does the light effect actually look?
Picture a warm glowing candle sitting on top of the holder, casting soft light down over the laser-cut animal silhouette below it — the shadows and glow play off the layered wood design in a way that's genuinely breathtaking in a dim room. It's the kind of thing you put on a mantle and guests ask about immediately.
Can I mix and match animals for a set?
That's actually one of my favorite ways to use them. Just add each animal you want to your cart individually and they'll ship together. A trio of animals on a mantle or windowsill looks incredible with candles glowing over each one. Orders over $200 ship free to the Lower 48, so if you're building a set it's worth keeping that in mind.
Are these handmade in the USA?
Every single one — cut, engraved, and assembled by hand in my shop in Tonopah, Arizona. I run every piece through the laser myself and put them together one at a time. These aren't factory-made and they're not dropshipped. They're made by a real person in a real shop who genuinely loves what she does.
