She, the Statue of Liberty,  arrived in pieces from France in 1885 — 350 individual pieces, packed into 214 crates — and when she was assembled and lit up in New York Harbor, she became the first thing millions of immigrants saw when they reached America. The symbol of a promise.

I laser-engraved her portrait in stunning detail on Premium Maple plywood, and the fine lines of her crown and her face come through in a way that genuinely surprised me when it came off the machine. She's been standing watch for over a century.
