Hand wash only. The dishwasher is not this tumbler's friend — the heat and detergent can damage the finish and the engraving over time. Do not microwave. Avoid soaking. Wash before first use. The sliding lid is listed as leak-proof by the manufacturer, but keep the slider closed when carrying and do not toss it loose into a bag. Drinks have attitude too.

If I make a mistake on my end, I will make it right. That is a given.

One more thing — the sliding lid on these tumblers is manufactured with a slight alignment variance, so there will not be a return for minor lid alignment or minor manufacturer imperfections. It functions exactly as it should, but if you are the type who will spend ten minutes making sure the logo lines up perfectly, this might not be your cup. The lid does its job. I promise.

About the Finish

An electroplated tumbler has two layers of finish — an outer coating in black or white, and a metallic layer underneath in gold or rainbow. When the design is laser engraved, the laser removes the outer coating to reveal that metallic layer underneath. The result is a bold, high-contrast design that is permanently part of the tumbler — not printed on, not stuck on, not painted over.

What is the difference between gold and rainbow?

Gold is a warm, rich metallic — bold contrast against the black or white outer coat. Rainbow is an iridescent metallic layer that shifts between purple, teal, green, and gold depending on the light and angle. Both are permanent and built into the finish of the tumbler itself.

Is the design printed on or is it a sticker?

Neither. Every design on our electroplated tumblers is laser engraved directly into the finish. The laser removes the outer coating to reveal the metallic layer underneath — clean, permanent, and built to last. No vinyl, no stickers, nothing to peel off six months from now.

Will the finish chip, peel, or scratch off?

The engraved areas are permanent — that is the metallic layer underneath the coating, not something applied on top. The outer coating itself can be scratched if handled roughly, same as any powder-coated or painted surface. Hand washing and normal care will keep it looking great for a long time.

Can I add a name to my tumbler?

Yes. Select yes on the product page and a text box will appear. Enter the name exactly as you want it engraved — capitalization, spacing, and spelling all matter. Once it ships, it cannot be changed, so double-check before you submit.

Can I leave it without a name?

On most of our electroplated tumblers, personalization is optional. Select no and the tumbler ships with the design only. The Floral Meadow tumbler is the exception — a name is required for that one since the design is built around it.

What fonts are available?

Font options vary by design. The available fonts for each tumbler are listed on the product page. If you are not sure which to pick, leave a note with your style preference — script, bold, clean, or fun — and we will reach out with a suggestion before engraving.

Can I add something other than a name — like a date or a phrase?

Current listings are set up for name engraving only. If you have a specific request, reach out before ordering and we can talk through options.

The Handle

How does the handle work?

The handle is a separate piece that attaches to the tumbler body. Once it is on, the clear lid screws directly into the handle rather than onto the tumbler. It is sturdy, secure, and gives you a solid grip — especially on the larger sizes.

Is the handle included or is it extra?

The handle is an optional paid add-on. Select yes on the product page and choose your color. It is not included by default.

What colors does the handle come in?

The handle is available in 13 colors: black, white, yellow, blue, orange, purple, turquoise/teal, navy, light blue, maroon, red, pink, and green.

Can I remove the handle after it is attached?

Yes, the handle is not permanently attached. It can be removed if needed.

Care and Use

How do I clean my electroplated tumbler?

Hand wash only. Warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth or brush. Do not put it in the dishwasher — the heat and detergent will damage the finish over time. Do not microwave. Avoid soaking for extended periods. Wash before first use.

Is the lid leak-proof?

The sliding lid is listed as leak-proof by the manufacturer. Keep the slider closed when carrying and avoid tossing it loose in a bag. We have not independently tested every lid, so we pass along the manufacturer's claim as stated.

My lid does not line up perfectly with the design — is that normal?

Yes. The sliding lid on these tumblers is manufactured with a slight rotational variance, which means the lid opening may not line up exactly with the engraved design. This is a manufacturer characteristic, not a defect, and it does not affect how the lid functions. If perfect alignment is important to you, this is worth knowing before you order.

Ordering and Shipping

How long does it take to make my tumbler?

Production time is 5 to 7 business days. Every tumbler is made to order, so it goes into the queue as soon as your order is placed. You will receive a shipping notification with tracking once it is on its way.

Can I rush my order?

Reach out before placing your order and we will let you know if rush production is available at that time. We cannot guarantee rush turnaround, but we will always be upfront about what is possible.

Can I cancel or change my order after it is placed?

Contact us as soon as possible. If your tumbler has not been engraved yet, we may be able to make changes. Once it is engraved, the order is final — personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged.

What if there is a mistake on my order?

If we made the error, we will make it right — full stop. If the name was entered incorrectly on your end, we will work with you on a solution, but we cannot cover the cost of remaking a tumbler based on information we were given correctly.
