She’s little, she’s laser-cut, and she’s got more personality than half the things on your shelf. The Chipmunk Woodland Candle Holder captures all the cheeky energy of the forest’s busiest little resident in a freestanding piece that punches way above her weight.

Dusty Rose, our Thunder Laser, cuts every detail right here in Arizona from premium maple, walnut, and cherry plywood. No stains, no dyes — pure natural wood tones sealed with a light clear coat. The grain is different on every single piece, so yours is one of a kind (just like a real chipmunk — they’re all a little different and equally chaotic).

The 2-layer design (no walnut - trees in the middle) keeps things sweet and simple with maple and cherry contrast. The 3-layer adds a walnut middle that gives her real depth and makes those tiny details really sing. Candle not included.

How big is the candle holder?

Each holder is approximately 6.5" tall and 4.5" wide — the perfect size for a standard pillar or LED candle. Exact dimensions may vary slightly depending on the design and number of layers.
How many layers can I choose?

You can choose between 2 or 3 layers depending on the look you're going for. More layers means more depth and shadow — which is pretty spectacular when the candle is lit.
is this handmade or mass produced?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
What is premium plywood and why do we use it?

Premium plywood isn't your average hardware store plywood. Each sheet features a real wood veneer on the top and bottom surfaces, giving it that beautiful natural wood grain and finish. The wood core in between provides consistent cutting performance, reinforced stability, and keeps the weight lighter than MDF. That combination is exactly why we use it — it laser cuts cleanly and precisely, holds up beautifully over time, and takes stain beautifully. We're not cutting corners by using it — we're using the best material for the job.
Are your pieces sealed or protected in any way?

Yes! Every stained piece is finished with a protective clear coat as part of our handcrafting process. This helps protect the wood and stain from everyday wear and keeps your piece looking beautiful for years to come. For our natural wood finish option, the clear coat comes directly from our supplier and is applied before the wood ever reaches our workshop — so either way your piece arrives protected and ready to display.
Does it come with a candle?

The candle holder arrives without a candle so you can choose whatever suits your style best. We recommend an LED flameless candle for the safest and most dramatic glow effect — but that's just us. 😄
Can I use a real candle in it?

You can, but we recommend LED candles for safety. If you choose to use a real flame candle, please do so at your own risk and never leave it unattended. These are made from real wood and should be treated accordingly.
Can I personalize my candle holder?

Absolutely! Many of our designs include a personalization option. Once your order is placed we'll send a digital mock up to your inbox at terrie@cactusairdesigns.com for your approval before anything gets cut. Production doesn't start until you give us the green light — so keep an eye on that inbox!
When will my order ship?

Each candle holder is made to order right here in our Arizona workshop. Standard orders ship within 5–7 business days. For personalized orders, once your mock up has been approved it will take 5–7 business days before it will ship and a tracking number will be provided either way. Good things take time!
What is your return policy on custom and personalized orders?

Custom and personalized pieces — including any orders where you've selected your own stain colors or colorways — are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges. We send a digital mock up for approval before we ever fire up the laser so you know exactly what you're getting. If something arrives damaged or there's an error on our end, reach out to terrie@cactusairdesigns.com within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right.
